Position Overview
Currently Johnson Matthey's Emission Control Technology division is recruiting for Regional Sales Manager for the Southeastern Region.
Responsibilities
- The Regional Sales Manager's primary role is to help grow SEC's overall market position for stationary engine emission control systems in the assigned territory.
- The individual will be responsible for direct sales, customer technical support and implementation of the commercial programs and strategies necessary to promote growth and profits of the SEC product line.
- In addition, the Regional Sales Manager provides market and competitive intelligence and works closely with Technology and Engineering to define and bring new products to market.
- This position requires a high level of face to face customer contact.
- The successful individual for this position will proactively seek and close sales of engineered emission control systems.
These systems consist of:
- Oxidation Catalyst
- Three Way Catalysts
- SCR System
- Diesel Particulate Filters
And are used on:
- Stationary engines on diesel and gas generators - Gas Compression - Fluid Pumps - Related Equipment.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Strong technical background combined with proven success in the sales of engineered mechanical equipment.
- Proactive in seeking new business opportunities while attending to existing customer needs.
- Bachelor's degree; a concentration in Chemical, Environmental or Mechanical engineering is a plus.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in sales of engineered equipment or emissions control.
- Strong communication skills: verbal, written and presentations.
- Must be creative and self-directed.
- Willingness and availability to travel.
- Ability to work remotely from main office.
