Position Overview:
The Project Manager is a salaried position that supports the company's turn-key lighting projects that comprise its Brilliant Solutions Division. The position provides analysis, research, and project management support for business development and project implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Leads implementation of comprehensive streetlight retrofit projects
- Assists in project development, including budget creation, human resources planning, task delegation, identification of deliverables and timetables
- Manages day-to-day execution of project tasks and deliverables
- Coordinates interaction with external customers and vendors
- Monitors project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful completion
- Conducts market research to determine key markets and potential customers
- Develops detailed analyses on life cycle costs, energy efficiency savings, cash flows, and cost benefits of comprehensive street light replacement projects
- Provides database management for a variety of data sets, including Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software data points
- Coordinates rebate and rate change applications with utilities
- Provides administrative support for reporting requirements, proposal and presentation development, production schedule management, and preparation of deliverables
- Other duties as requested
Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of project management or relevant work experience
- Must have experience in energy efficiency field, including coordinating utility rebates and rate schedules
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business Management or other relevant field; Master's degree preferred
- Proven analytical skills, preferably with financial, life cycle cost analyses, and energy efficiency modeling
- Demonstrated experience with GIS, Excel, Access or other database management software
- Superior interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills
- Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently, coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines
