Responsibilities:

Will manage and direct RCRA regulatory compliance inspections, audits and assessments; evaluate regulatory requirements; prepare permit applications; develop compliance plans and programs; prepare and implement RCRA closure plans; develop and conduct personnel training programs; conduct meetings and negotiations with agency personnel; and develop compliance recommendations.  Experience and/or understanding of site investigations (RFIs and APARs); wastewater and stormwater compliance and permitting; EMS/ISO1400/SMIS programs, multimedia audits and compliance, and BEAC Certification is a plus.

Qualifications:

BS required (MS preferred) in Environmental Engineering or Science with a minimum of 10 years of regulatory permitting and compliance consulting experience in Texas, as a consultant or as an industry representative in the Chemical/Petrochemical sector.  40 hour OSHA training required.  Previous regulatory agency (TCEQ or EPA) experience preferred.

Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex regulatory issues effectively.  Must have progressive project management experience and be capable of managing multiple projects.   Will assist to expand work with existing clients and develop new client relationships.
