General Manager

Position Overview:

Seeking General Manager of a new 60 MMgpy ethanol plant located in Raeford, NC (near Pinehurst, NC).

Plant will begin production this fall, General Manager position to be filled within 30 days. Plant Manager has already been hired and will start on April 20, 2009.

We are looking for energetic, highly motivated and intelligent candidates looking for growth potential with a NC based company. Site is located 30 minutes from Pinehurst and Fayetteville, NC. Good area for families, convenient to all of NC's best attributes (Schools, Lakes, Beaches, Mountains, Sports teams, and great weather).

Responsibilities:

• Management of 60,000,000 gallon per year ethanol plant.
• Oversee all business operations, Plant Manager, Purchasing, Marketing, Personnel and general plant operations and profitability of the ethanol plant.
• Reporting of financial information and operational information to Board of Directors.
• Strong business background required. 

Qualifications:

• 5 plus years of experience in plant operation management and performance management.
• Experience in Ethanol, Grain or Food processing preferred.
  Bachelors degree or greater. 
• Education: Bachelors Degree 

Compensation: $125,000 + BOE
