The San Francisco Conservation Corps (SFCC) is a non-profit job training and education program serving adolescents and young adults.
Position Overview:
The SFCC is seeking a motivated Recycling Projects Supervisor to join our team of dedicated professionals committed to providing job training and educational opportunities to young adult Corpsmembers (trainees) approximately ages 18-26 through community improvement work projects.
The Recycling Projects Supervisor has the unique opportunity to serve as a positive role model, instructor, and work task monitor to a crew of approximately 10 Corpsmembers.
Responsibilities:
Projects may include sorting recycling at our sorting facility in the Presidio, recycling education and outreach, and recycling for special events. Responsibilities include overseeing and implementing scopes of work, ensuring safety, quality and timeliness of completion while challenging our Corpsmembers to develop basic job skills such as following instructions, goal setting, teamwork, and professionalism.
Compensation: The SFCC offers a competitive salary and provides a great opportunity to work in a challenging environment. Our Staff members truly make a difference in the lives of young adults! The salary range is $34,700 - $41,500 (DOE) with excellent benefits including medical and dental.
