From the first phone call, we want our guests to be serviced by intelligent, worldly, articulate staff, and this starts with our Expedition Specialists who provide customer service for guests, travel agents, group representatives via telephone and email.
The Expedition Specialists are involved in all levels of guest bookings and reservations for LEX programs. We are also recruiting for Program Managers to coordinate and organize all incoming guest and group information, prepare reports for shipboard personnel, and maintain communication with both vessels and guests. This job entails extensive work with our in-house reservation system, phones and general computer programs.
We are recruiting full-time employees (35 hrs/wk) to join our dynamic team in our West Village office. You must be able to work varying shifts: 9-5, 10-6 and 12-8, plus occasional Saturdays. The ideal candidate is fully conversant and experienced in international destinations, and has the ability to comprehend and assist clients with complex travel inquiries and atypical destinations. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail also mandatory.
Must also possess proficient computer skills and comfort with database applications. Sales and group travel experience also preferred but not required. The most important qualities for the successful candidate to possess are a great attitude, the desire to learn about remarkable destinations, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
