Postdoctoral Research Associate

Postdoc positions are available immediately at the Energy and Environmental Technology Applications Center at Albany Nanotech to work on advanced electronic devices and materials for energy applications.

 

 

Areas of current interest include thin film and polymer based photovoltaics. We are seeking candidates with extensive experience in solid state device design, fabrication and testing along with materials synthesis and characterization, particularly including work on nanostructures in solar cells. Knowledge of electronic testing will be valuable.

 

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in multiple programs together with graduate students, postdocs, research scientists and professors at the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering as well as with researchers from industrial partner firms.

Projects will make use of the world-class process, fabrication and characterization facilities at Albany Nanotech. A Ph. D. in electrical engineering, solid state physics or other relevant field is required.
