Our consumer-focused solutions place plug-in vehicles at the heart of the on-demand economy, making them accessible to help drivers on rideshare or delivery platforms such as Uber, Lyft, or Postmates. ~

Our development environments span: web, smartphone, and cars! Technologies we use enable carsharing of electric vehicles, provide data collection, and cloud connectivity. This includes Python, Django, Javascript, React, CSS, HTML, REST, JSON, MySQL, MongoDB, Celery, RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, GIS software, GPS and Telematics Systems and more. We also leverage software build & integration tools including Git, etc.

Position Overview

The Strategic Partnerships Manager will report to the Chief Commercial Officer and will help originate, construct, and execute strategic deals with a wide variety of partners, suppliers, and customers in partnership with the Evercar executive team.

This is a perfect role for someone well-rounded enough to tackle all aspects of corporate strategy, business development, and product development, and to execute meaningful business transactions at a young company. You'll be engaging with a lot of high-level clients and working closely with alums from finance, consulting, and energy companies on an exciting set of projects. 

Responsibilities 

  • Build engagement plans and partnership proposals for prospective transportation ecosystem partners;
  • Originate and develop relationships with strategic partners, and construct business transactions;
  • Support successful deal negotiations and ongoing management of deals with partners; and
  • Help drive company strategy for future financings, product offerings, and market expansions. 

Qualifications  

Required Skills & Experience: 

  • 2-3 years of strategy consulting or investment banking background with identified strengths in building client relationships;
  • Experience developing partnering strategies, and designing strategic win-win business deals;
  • General business acumen, with diverse and multi-functional experience in some of the following: strategy, business development, finance, operations, marketing, product development, and engineering;
  • Passion and ability to solve hard problems;
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly produce high quality, thorough output in an ever changing environment; and
  • Excellent written and verbal skills (ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical resources). 

What will get you in the door immediately? 

  • Knowledge of the automotive, cleantech, and/or fleet space, or at least some familiarity with the industry and trends;
  • Demonstrated experience working in complex verticals with technical subject matter; and
  • Demonstrated passion and interest in entrepreneurial ventures.
