Description

Living Energy Farm is an intentional community, farm and education center that operates without the use of any fossil fuels or grid electricity. Our mission is to serve as an example of a truly sustainable post fossil fuel village. 

Intership Overview

We have begun construction on an 8-bedroom solar heated strawbale house. We are looking for an intern with construction experience to help us finish our house this summer.

Qualifications  

  • Applicants must have experience hanging and finishing drywall, applying stucco, and other general finish work.
  • Applicants must also be able to safely manage crews of unskilled volunteers. 

Compensation: In exchange for 40 hours of work per week we provide room, board and a stipend of $500/month. The position lasts from April to October 2016.
