I am a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison studying Business Management & Entrepreneurship, Environmental Studies, and Sustainability.
Experience
• Provide 30+ presentations and consult closely with 15+ clients to improve and certify sustainable practices in waste and recycling, energy and water, purchasing, and community engagement
• Create and present training to 200+ custodial staff members to improve recycling streams and help save $50,900/year
• Improve professional communication skills by authoring official content, actively engaging in meetings and conference calls, developing website UI, and conducting campus outreach
• Pilot UW-Madison’s first Green Athletics program by building official partnerships and formulating future strategy
• Spearhead unique initiatives with new partners, like the School of Business and University Marketing, to advance campus sustainability and create synergies
• Design educational programming for students and faculty to enhance campus knowledge on sustainable topics
• Conduct 5+ energy and waste audits by collecting and analyzing data to increase energy efficiency and reduce waste
• Create a positive and productive culture by demonstrating strong leadership and ambition, a willingness to take on new challenges, and optimism in the face of adversity
