I am looking for a position where I can utilize my strong mix of environmental planning, business management/entrepreneurial and software/mechanical engineering capabilities.
I have founded a successful environmental products company, written public land use plans and managed nature preserves, have a BA in environmental studies from UC Santa Cruz, and also have over 10 years of senior-level experience in the tech/software sector.

- Land use planning/policy and project management. Composed public land-use management plans and managed large environmental land holdings.

Experience
Co-founded successful environmental products corporation with major investors that manufactures Waxelene, a patented natural alternative to petroleum jelly and patented unique environmental manufacturing process. Waxelene is now sold nationally in Whole Foods and other large retailers such as CVS, Bed Bath & Beyond, Sprouts and military commissaries. From product conception to design of custom large-scale machinery to successfully patenting a new manufacturing process, I was involved at all stages. Other corporate tasks included strategic decision-making and management of two warehouses with 5-10 workers. Worked with external production facilities, distributors, and customers. Performed all corporate and certification requirements including trademarks, organic, non-GMO and safety testing.
Authored General Land Use & Management Plan for Long Ridge Open Space Preserve in the Santa Cruz mountains, which was implemented by the district. Conducted solo field surveys, research and documentation. Delivered complete management plan with native/non-native species lists, identification of areas of historical or environmental importance, impact assessment, trail usage and habitat protection.
