Foresight Wind Energy, LLC is seeking experienced Developer / Project Managers to help advance and expand the company's 2,000 MW portfolio of wind projects under development in the western U.S.

Foresight's portfolio of wind energy projects includes 300 MW of construction-ready projects and an additional 1,700 MW of mid and early stage projects under site control. Foresight has excellent financial backing and access to turbines. We are positioned to complete 200 to 300 MW of projects per year in our target markets starting in 2008. The company's management team represents 40 years of combined experience in wind development and 80 years combined experience in the energy sector.

Position Overview:

We are seeking experienced wind professionals with a proven track record to originate and develop projects to support our rapid growth and expanding geographical footprint. Foresight is seeking individuals with high character and integrity who are passionate about advancing wind power's tremendous potential and who would thrive working in a casual, team oriented, and entrepreneurial environment.

These positions may be located in Southwest or Western States, or at Foresight corporate headquarters in San Francisco. Job responsibilities will entail project management and development of Foresight's existing portfolio, new business development, cross-functional team collaboration, and working closely with strategic partners and vendors. Developers will be responsible for managing the advancement of projects from origination through construction.

Requirements:

Successful candidates will have a minimum of 2 years experience in wind power or 5 years experience in the power industry. Requirements include development experience in large-scale energy projects including site due diligence (land rights, environmental, generation interconnection, regulatory requirements) and project management (environmental studies, permitting, stakeholder relations, and engineering).

Bachelor's degree is required; Master's or engineering degree is preferred.
