Position Overview:
Senior Wildlife Biologist sought to serve as lead on environmental impact statements. The position is based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The biologist will develop schedules and manage tasks required to develop complex environmental impact statements. Supervision of staff will be required.
The biologist will work closely with federal and private sector clients to determine work requirements, develop progress reports and develop resolutions to isssues that may arise. Travel will be required to attend meetings and site visits. The biologist will work on teams of other resource specialists in the company.
Qualifications:
A B.S. in wildlife biology or related field is required. A graduate degree is preferred. At least 10 years of experience with NEPA is required. Experience as a resource lead for environmental impact statements is required. Must have experience in the western U.S. Excellent communication and writing skills are required. Experience with NEPA for large transmission lines desirable. GIS skills are desirable.
