Opportunity
The Certification Team is currently seeking a part-time intern to assist with tasks related to projects applying for Fitwel Certification, CfAD’s signature product. This internship is an opportunity to join a creative, fast moving, multidisciplinary team and grow in a thriving organization. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic individual dedicated to CfAD’s mission and is able to contribute 10 to 20 hours a week.
Responsibilities
- Support certification management tasks for incoming project submissions, including but not
limited to determining and communicating project review timelines, updating project management trackers, monitoring deadlines, tracking invoices and payments and assisting with reconciliation. - Revise certification materials on an ad-hoc basis as requested by users.
- Upkeep of various data management tools such as certification trackers, and downloading reports for data analysis and staff updates.
- Support the certification inbox management in an organized and systematic manner.
- Support broader tasks for various initiatives involving the Certification Team.
Skills and Qualifications
- Undergraduate student in their final year.
- Academic background in architectural studies, urban design, planning, sustainability, or related fields.
- Interest and background in Fitwel and other relevant certification systems are a plus.
- Ability to assist with project management tasks.
- Strong written and verbal skills in English for internal and external-facing forms of communication.
- Strong time management skills and ability to assist with project management tasks.
- Ability to follow directions well and work independently.
- Meticulous attention to detail with demonstrated good judgment and problem-solving abilities.
Job Details
- Work Mode: Remote
- Location: Preferably in the U.S. west coast, Pacific time zone
- Working Hours: Part-time (10 to 20 hours a week)
- Duration of Internship: 6 months with possibility of extension
- Trial Period: 1 month
- Compensation: $15.74 USD/hour
