Description

Responsibilities:
- Develop and operate construction department.
- Encompass commercial and residential installations.
- Operate all facets of the construction division as a multi-state commercial and residential contractor.
- Put in place subcontracting framework (contracts and processes).
- Solicit, review, hire and manage major subcontractor relationships.
- Hire and manage Estimators, PM's and others, manage interface between construction services dept. and sales dept, review legal requirements for performing services in each jurisdiction, lead continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Extensive commercial construction supervision and contracting experience, Plan reading, legal subcontract creation and negotiating, subcontractor selection, management, negotiation and gap analysis, construction estimating experience, project management, Engineering supervision, CPM scheduling, technical writing, Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management, 10+ years of progressive management of projects over $3M.
