Heritage Conservancy is seeking an experienced professional for the position of Vice-President of Stewardship.

Since our inception in 1958, Heritage Conservancy, a non-profit regional conservation organization, has established itself as a leader in innovative land conservation and historic preservation. In accomplishing its mission, Preserving Our Natural and Historic Heritage, the conservancy engages in resource management best practices, progressive open space preservation, adaptive re-use of historic structures and conservation economics.

Responsibilities:

The Vice-President of Stewardship is responsible for establishing and enhancing economic sustainability and best land management practices for the conservancy's real estate assets, which include owned properties, conservation easements and new ventures. The vice-president will market and grow stewardship services to current constituents and develop new fee-for-service contract opportunities.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have a minimum of seven years experience in project management and sustainable land-use practices. Excellent business, communication and public relations skills are a must, and the candidate should have an overall desire to connect strategies synergistically across the organization.
