Position Overview
MSC is seeking
a USA Marketing Manager. The
position is based in our Seattle office. The
Marketing Manager role is a new position responsible for growing U.S. consumer awareness for the vision
of the Marine Stewardship Council and the value represented by its blue
ecolabel.
With excellent interpersonal and networking skills, the MSC U.S. Marketing Manager works to build consumer awareness across digital media channels, collaborating closely with partners to amplify our voice to influence the choices people make when buying seafood.
This role provides an exciting opportunity for the right individual to make a real contribution to the successful development of our organization.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Marketing and
Communications Manager, the Marketing Manager has national scope, with focus on
two core areas of responsibility:
Digital Marketing:
- Responsible for
strategy, plan development, implementation and results tracking/reporting. - Position oversees U.S. social media channels and website, developing
content, social engagement strategies, advertising initiatives and digital assets. - The Marketing Manager coordinates digital activity with the MSC London Global
Social Media Manager and Head of Digital & Innovation.
Partner Marketing:
- Develops co-promotions and joint
campaigns and events with key MSC business partners, primarily in the grocery
and food service sectors. - Initiatives may include both online and traditional
marketing elements.
Qualifications
To be successful in
the role:
- You will have experience in strategic planning, expertise in
marketing and communications, with a track record of managing successful
promotions and events. - The position
demands high energy, a creative, innovative, thorough and strategic approach,
and an empathy and interest in the MSC's mission and objectives. - A strong customer service ethic is essential.
