About our teams:

The Pacific Crest Trail Team will spend the summer working the wild section of the PCT from Southern Oregon to Southern Washington. Periodically, the team will host PCT Association trail volunteers who will work and live with them on the trail for short stints. The team will spike camp in the backcountry, on the trail, for much of their summer. The team's schedule will vary and at a few points during the season they will camp/work nine days in the backcountry, with a day off in the middle, and five days off afterward.

The Sisters Trail Team will work throughout the Sisters District of the Deschutes National Forest. They will primarily spend their time working on front and backcountry trails which feed into the Pacific Crest Trail. While they may spend some time camping in the backcountry they will, for the most part, be housed at a historic forest service guard station along the Metolious River.

The Gifford-Pinchot Trail Team will split its time working on front and backcountry trails on both the Mt Adams District of the Gifford-Pinchot and the Mt. Saint Helens National Volcanic Monument. The team will alternate between the two, spending two weeks at a time at each site. While at Mt. St Helens the team will camp, and while at Mt. Adams the team will live at the MAC and camp out occasionally.

The Wenatchee National Forest Trail Team will work in the Entiat district on a variety of multi-use trails. 50% of the work this team does will be on motorized trails and 50% will be on hiking trails. This team will do a mixture of back and front country trail work. While in the backcountry this team may work up to eight days in a row and have a long day off stretch afterward. The Wenatchee team will live out of a "work center" in the Entiat River Valley in a Forest Service house or bunkhouse. During the summer, this space may be shared with Forest Service firefighters.

The Mt. Hood National Forest Trail Team will work in the Zig Zag and Clackamas districts of the forest. The team will live out of Forest Service housing in the Zig Zag district near Mt Hood and camp out occasionally while doing projects in the Clackamas district. This team will do mostly front country work, with the majority of their work will be on hiking trails in wilderness areas.
