Technical Specialist

Position Overview 

System One Services is currently seeking a Technical Specialist for a 1-year contract assignment located in Juno Beach, FL. The control center is a highly technical environment which operates 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. It is a 4 week rotating schedule: 12 hours per shift; roughly 4 days in a row, 3 days off. 7 nights in a row, 4 days off, 3 days in a row, and lastly 7 days off. Ideal candidates have to be very motivated to work in a very repetitive, fast paced environment.

• Contract Duration: 1 year 

Technical Specialist Responsibilities:

• Responsible for responding to all wind turbine and PV Solar faults throughout the company portfolio.
• Will have to figure out what caused the turbine to malfunction, and refer to fault handling procedures, and either restores the unit to service by remote reset or escalation to control center operator. 

Technical Specialist Qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional working experience or someone that’s currently attending school obtaining a professional or technical degree. 
• Computer savvy / ability to learn new computer systems. 
• Must enjoy working in a high tech environment. 
• Ability to work in a highly repetitive, fast-paced role. 
• Must be comfortable handling large volumes of work in a highly repetitive and fast-paced environment. 
• Must have high MS office experience, and basic understanding of networks, programming, and web building experience is a plus. 
• Must be able to obtain a NERC CIP clearance. 

Compensation: Pay Range: $24.00 – 26.00/hour.
