Position Overview 

The Regional Manager of Sales and Education (RMSE) is responsible for the planning and execution of sales strategies, in order to drive growth of MyChelle Dermaceuticals business.

The RMSE has a high level of understanding the brand, operational practices and sales strategy of the business they support. Their role includes delivering the appropriate training to execute sales and business strategy.

The position that is available is in the Southeastern Region and includes Florida, Georgia, Alabama, North and South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee, Maryland, Delaware and DC.

The position will oversee existing and potential customers/accounts, including beauty and food retailers, independents and all channels of the retail class of trade and reports to the VP of Sales.

Responsibilities  

  • Travels to key accounts regularly, working closely to identify improvement opportunities, training and education needs and account growth.
  • Ensures the effective use of marketing materials and monitors merchandising tools such as samples, foils and testers by Sales Representatives in the field.
  • Develops a territory business plan for assigned region, which lists each target district and quantifies the potential opportunity.
  • Develops and submits a monthly sales expense budget that correlates regional visits planned in the monthly/quarterly sales plan.
  • Utilizes field time to evaluate, train and develop key accounts and Sales Representatives.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Sales 

  • Proactively implements MyChelle sales strategies and tactics for revenue improvement, cost savings solutions, and overall team effectiveness.
  • Prepares and communicates sales information and marketing programs to customers, brokers and Sales Representative teams.
  • Increases sales in respective accounts, in accordance with company goals and targets.
  • Drives effective launch of MyChelle in new accounts or channels in the respective region by achieving or exceeding sales quota.
  • Monitors and achieves on a monthly/quarterly basis new and existing business volume goals. 

Business Development & Strategy 

  • Builds and maintains relationships with the existing and new retailers and independents. This includes initiating communication, identifying needs, and recommending appropriate strategies to meet those needs and building collaborative partner relationships.
  • Prepares quarterly and annual Demo Budget for assigned territory as required.
  • Measures and monitors MyChelle market share penetration in the territory and by channel partner as required. 

Training & Education 

  • Manages accounts, auditing and visiting customers within the region assigned, and executing standardized procedures for customer training.
  • Educates and trains the representative and broker sales force.
  • Prepares and participates in regularly scheduled web trainings, teleconference meetings and in-aisle trainings.
  • Initiates calls to existing or prospective clients, to determine use and needs of the Visia and Reveal demos.
  • Follows product training objectives and methodologies per the Director of Education and VP of Sales.
  • Manages, coordinates and provides logistical support for product and technical education projects as assigned. 

Events 

  • Manages MyChelle's participation in trade shows, general sales meetings, and/or other appropriate sales events, educating, training, and motivating the sales force of each retailer, and working successfully with the appropriate Managers, Buyers, and Executives.
  • Participates in and coordinates trade exhibitions and contributes to the development process and execution of trade show events.
  • Plans and conducts effective Reveal and Visia trainings and events. 

Communications 

  • Calls and visits prospective and existing customers and establish buying cycles, customer needs, and create a strategic customer relationship.
  • Ensures communications are timely, accurate, and meet internal expenditure and budget requirements per the VP of Sales.
  • Prepare and present reports/presentations and for clients, sales organization and leadership as needed.
  • Collects and communicates to leadership all relative business data, store reports, and pertinent information from brokers and reps.  

Qualifications  

Skills & Experience 

  • Previous management experience required.
  • Demonstrated record of success with exceptional leadership and relationship building.
  • Demonstrate strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to effectively execute sales, training and marketing plans.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Must be flexible, innovative and self-motivated.
  • Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to integrate in a professional manner.
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office. 9. Travel required - 50-75%.
