Solar Technical Sales and Design

Northern Arizona Wind & Sun (NAWS) offers custom system design and equipment sales for a variety of renewable energy applications. Primarily solar focused, we provide solutions for grid-tie, off-grid, RV/marine, battery backup, hybrid, wind, water pumping, and more.

The company was founded in 1979 and has stayed current with industry advancement and new technology. Our catalog includes thousands of different products which customers can order on our website, by phone, or in-person at our office. We also provide consulting design support and troubleshooting / technical support for systems/equipment purchased from us. We do not design or manufacture new products.

Position Overview

NAWS is actively seeking candidates for a Solar Technical Sales and Design positions. You must be  interested in renewable energy, primarily solar and battery storage, to expand our technical sales and design team. No previous industry experience required, but eagerness to learn and an interest in solar are required. Our sales and design team communicates directly with customers to understand their energy needs and goals. From there we design a custom solar electrical system and/or recommend the correct equipment for their application. We do not go on-site or offer installation services but work closely with our customers to provide the best solution possible along with unparalleled post-sale support. Our experienced team will provide technical on-the-job training for solar electric system design.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Interest in solar energy and willingness to learn
• Bachelors or associates degree
• Proficiency with computers (Outlook, Office, web browsing, chat, etc.)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team environment
• Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced work setting
• Well organized and proficient at multitasking
• Positive and professional attitude

Preferred:

• STEM background
• CAD Experience
• Sales and/or customer service experience

Compensation

• Pay: $40,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
