Catalina Sea Camp is operated by Guided Discoveries, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to: Make a difference in the lives of children through unique opportunities for discovery.

This mission drives the development of our summer camp program. Catalina Sea Camp makes a positive difference by providing children with opportunities for discovery in ocean and island adventure, as well as in themselves.

The Science & Adventure Instructors at Catalina Sea Camp are responsible for providing summer camp programs for children ages 8-17. This primarily includes instruction of camp activities, including marine science labs, archery, high ropes, kayaking, snorkeling, and tubing, as well as secondary duties as assigned. All activities are conducted according to Catalina Sea Camp and ACA-approved protocols to ensure the delivery of a high-quality program.

Instructional Staff is responsible for providing quality instruction and leadership in our educational outdoor science and summer camp programs. They maintain the safety of students and campers while leading them engagingly through school and summer activities.
