Emerging Energy Research is a leading advisory and consulting firm tracking emerging technologies in global energy markets. Our customers - which include many of the world's largest corporations and technology vendors - seek our informed, objective view and advice on these fast developing markets. EER is headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts with a European office in Barcelona.
We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to play a major role in growing EER's Advisory Service business in Europe.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain sales strategy to grow territory
* Meet and exceed revenue and other sales targets
* Generate new business
* Maintain and grow renewal business
* Build lasting relationships with clients
* Ability to communicate client/prospect needs to analyst teams
* Travel required approximately 50% of time
* Report to the Director of Sales & Marketing
Qualifications
* 3 - 5 years proven consultative sales experience, preferably selling to large organizations
* Proven experience achieving revenue goals
* Excellent interpersonal and team playing skills
* Ability to build lasting client relationships
* Ability to 'work the phones' and handle face-to-face client visits at decision making level
* Undergraduate or equivalent degree required
* Fluency in one major European language (German, French, Italian, Spanish) required
*Experience selling into energy markets preferred
The position is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts or Barcelona, Spain.
