Position Overview

Currently Johnson Matthey's Emission Control Technology division is recruiting for Regional Sales Manager for the Southeastern Region.

Responsibilities

  • The Regional Sales Manager's primary role is to help grow SEC's overall market position for stationary engine emission control systems in the assigned territory.
  • The individual will be responsible for direct sales, customer technical support and implementation of the commercial programs and strategies necessary to promote growth and profits of the SEC product line.
  • In addition, the Regional Sales Manager provides market and competitive intelligence and works closely with Technology and Engineering to define and bring new products to market.
  • This position requires a high level of face to face customer contact.
  • The successful individual for this position will proactively seek and close sales of engineered emission control systems.

These systems consist of: 

  • Oxidation Catalyst 
  • Three Way Catalysts 
  • SCR System 
  • Diesel Particulate Filters

And are used on: 

  • Stationary engines on diesel and gas generators - Gas Compression - Fluid Pumps - Related Equipment.

Qualifications 

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria: 

  • Strong technical background combined with proven success in the sales of engineered mechanical equipment.
  • Proactive in seeking new business opportunities while attending to existing customer needs.
  • Bachelor's degree; a concentration in Chemical, Environmental or Mechanical engineering is a plus.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in sales of engineered equipment or emissions control.
  • Strong communication skills: verbal, written and presentations.
  • Must be creative and self-directed.
  • Willingness and availability to travel.
  • Ability to work remotely from main office.
