Position Overview
Rails-to-Trails Conservancy (RTC) is seeking candidates for a temporary, part-time position of Program Coordinator in the Western Region Office. The position is contractual and will last approximately 1 year. Funding is currently available for 105 hours total, schedule will vary based on project timeline.
Note: RTC’s Western office is located in the Historic Central Building in downtown Oakland, across from 12th Street/City Center BART.
Responsibilities
- Job responsibilities are primarily to provide support for a trail feasibility study;
- with tasks focused on developing a strategy for public outreach, planning workshops, developing materials, and project administration.
Qualifications
- The successful candidate will have experience leading or supporting outreach activities;
- Strong writing and organizational skills;
- Competency with graphics software to create outreach materials; and.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not essential.
Compensation: Pay rate is $25/hr.
