Position Overview 

We are seeking a Financial Assistant to fill the role of Full Charge Bookkeeper and Office Manager. This person has primary responsibility for the accounting for multiple subsidiary companies, as well as licensing and insurance requirements associated with a growing construction company.

Additionally, this role will be responsible for the human resources administration including but not limited to payroll, benefits administration, paid time off recordkeeping and 401k. This is a position with room for growth in a rapidly growing company.

Responsibilities 

Primary responsibilities include the following: 

  • Assisting members of the executive management team where necessary.
  • Entering and properly coding bills received.
  • Invoicing construction jobs and submitting jobs for payment.
  • Analyzing completed jobs and calculating the profit on individual jobs.
  • Managing company registrations and organizational filings.
  • Coordinating security: keys, codes and alarms companies.
  • Coordinating the human resources requirements and paperwork associated with newly hired team members.
  • Human resources administration including time keeping, payroll, 401k.
  • Additional long-term tasks as they arise and the responsibilities solidifies. 

Qualifications  

Job Requirements 

  • A superior attention to detail and thoroughness in your work.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Knowledge of Peachtree or similar accounting software.
  • Familairity with Paychex or other Payroll processing services.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office and Google Docs.
  • Superior communications skills.
  • Able to pass a criminal background check and provide work references. 

Preferred 

  • A college graduate with a proven history in accounting and other detailed oriented work.

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Extremely high level of attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated project management and strategic planning skills.
  • Experience developing and utilizing processes that continually improve.
  • Ability to thrive in a team oriented environment.

Compensation: Annual compensation expectation: $40,000.00 plus benefits. Benefits include health care as well as 10 days paid vacation, 3 paid sick days, and 6 holidays.
