Coupled with an analytics toolkit, Spoiler Alert enables food businesses to overcome inefficiencies in food management, comply with food waste regulations, and achieve margin improvement through cost reductions, new revenue streams, and tax breaks.

Position Overview
The Marketing Intern role is a part-time position - ideal for a Boston-area undergraduate or graduate student - and will be responsible for supporting the company’s marketing and customer success initiatives. The primary goal of the role is to support digital content creation and customer onboarding and training.
Responsibilities

Develop content for the company’s website, blog, social media, and marketing collateral

Create training materials and an online forum to streamline customer onboarding and support

Support customer onboarding and troubleshooting

Customize content for various audiences (food businesses, nonprofits, governments, etc.)

Represent team at community events and conferences (when applicable)

Report directly to the company’s Chief Executive Officer and Chief Product Officer
Qualifications
We are seeking a creative, fun, and entrepreneurial individual who is hard-working, execution-oriented, and doesn’t wait for direction. They should be a strong and flexible team player that embodies the company’s mission. Candidate recognizes they will be joining an early-stage startup led by a hard-working and and passionate team.
An ideal candidate has the following:

Bachelor’s degree (or pursuit of) in business, marketing, or communications

1 year (or internship) of relevant experience

Experience with social media, digital marketing, data analytics, and content creation

Past work experience in the food, technology, and/or sales & marketing industries
-
Familiarity with content management systems, marketing automation, and customer relationship management (CRM) platforms (experience with Squarespace and HubSpot is a plus)

Geographically located in the Greater Boston Area
