With over 2 GW of installed and completed power projects, our team is fully qualified to manage, guide, and supply services across the ever-evolving renewables energy sector.
EPiK has entered the US blade repair market with specialists capable of servicing and repairing assets from any manufacturer. To support this growth, EPiK is searching for skilled composite technicians who are interested in associating themselves with a highly reputable, competitive, and aggressive composite team.

- Expected hours: 40 – 80 per week
Responsibilities
EPiK’s Lead Composite Technicians are expected to:
- Execute composite repairs to manufacturer standards utilizing vacuum assisted wet laminations from findings that include severe delamination, core repairs, erosion repairs, and other structural/cosmetic findings.
- Assist in the training and development of field staff
- Inspect and document internal and external findings from a variety of manufacturers.
- Execute all contractual obligations and activities outlined by the composite manager.
- Understand/perform LOTO to maintain safe working environments per job requirements.
- Document and maintain required information to support EPiK’s practices including inspection reports, JSA’s, and foreman reports.
- Apply/install various LEP systems.
- Produce inventory reports of materials
- All other duties as assigned by the composite manager.
Qualifications
- Soft Skills: Communication, transparency, motivation, responsiveness, and integrity.
- Competency with rigging suspended platforms
- Understanding of composite repair methods
- Understand LOTO methods
- Understanding of chemicals including bonding pastes, epoxy resins, structural adhesives, profile fillers, and topcoat.
- Understanding of LEP systems and application methods
- Operation of basic hand tools
- Understanding and execution of chamfering/scarfing methods
- Ability to provide portfolio of blade repairs
Physical Requirements
Per industry standards, composite technicians are required to:
- Climb wind turbines in excess of 250 feet
- Work at height (suspended platform or aerial man lift)
- The employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Legally operate company vehicles (field trucks) both on site as well as on public roads and highways in accordance with EPiK’s standards
- Must have a current driver’s license with clean MVR
- Demonstrate good work habits, including but not limited to attendance, and maintaining a neat and orderly work environment
Compensation
- Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
