Position Overview

Intermountain Wind and Solar full-time positions available for Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians. We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals that are excited about renewable energy and want to be a part of this growing industry and an amazing company.

Candidate will work on an electrical crew on both residential and commercial jobs. There will be an opportunity to interact with project managers, city inspectors, homeowners or commercial property owners.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be able to work independently, follow plans and instructions and trouble shoot electrical issues.
• A current valid Utah Commercial Journeyman’s license is required.
• Knowledge and compliance of local and NEC codes are required.
• IWS has high expectations of excellent workmanship.
• Experience with and knowledge of 120/240, 120/208Y, 120/208Delta, and 277/480-volt AC systems
• A knowledge of 12, 24, 48-volt DC battery systems is a plus. Experience installing solar systems is preferred, but not required.

Compensation

• We offer a comprehensive benefits package.
• You will enjoy paid vacation, paid holidays and medical, dental and vision Insurance for individual and family coverage. Benefits begin after 2 full months of employment.
• We also offer supplemental benefits through AFLAC, accident, disability, critical care and hospital indemnity and voluntary life.
• Salary is $24.00 to $30.00 /hour.
