IT/Facilities Manager

Duties:

The Rudolf Steiner Foundation (RSF) seeks an experienced Information & Technology (IT)/Facilities Manager. We are a San Francisco based nonprofit financial service organization, which, through its donor-advised funds, loan programs, fiscal sponsorships, advisory services and educational activities, supports projects that are compatible with Rudolf Steiners insights, including a focus on education, the arts, the environment, sustainable agriculture, and spiritual and religious renewal.

This newly created position will provide dedicated IT/Facility support to RSFs principal office and staff of 20 plus employees and will be responsible for all basic computer systems management functions such as desktop support, new application and hardware purchase and installation, equipment along with facility maintenance, vendor interface, voice and data communications, space planning functions, as well as some supply/equipment/furniture and inventory maintenance duties.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of four (4) years of demonstrable experience providing professional IT support in a business office environment with at least two (2) years of facilities management experience. He/she must possess strong communication, organizational and time management skills with the ability to effectively problem solve and prioritize work assignments and to independently take the initiative to complete tasks as needed. A high level of Internet (including e-mail and web site daily operations and maintenance) and computer literacy, preferably within a PC environment, is required. Reporting directly to RSFs Chief Financial Officer, this position will posses the ability to effectively and independently organization wide manage projects. Demonstrable experience managing or leading tenant improvement activity along with leasehold space negotiations participation for a small business operation is highly desirable. A high school diploma is required. Technical college course work and or formal training completed or degree and or certificate bestowed is desired but not mandatory.

Compensation:

RSF offers a competitive compensation package that includes employer-paid medical, dental, and long-term disability insurance, along with a retirement savings plan and a hiring salary of $55,000 per annum. We are an Equal Opportunity employer.
