Good Wood Project Officer

Duties:

An enthusiastic and motivated individual, you will use your skills to support
the development of Forest of Avon Products, a marketing co-operative
dedicated to the use of local sustainable timber.

Forest of Avon Products has been successful in securing lottery and
Countryside Agency
funding for the Good Wood Project. You will oversee this Project, creating
initiatives which develop new markets and products through the co-op's
member organisations.

Qualifications:

A relevant qualification in business development, marketing or sales and a
minimum of 5 years relevant experience are essential, together with excellent
communication skills.

You may also have experience of partnership working and the timber/wood
products industry.

Terms:

Fixed Term Contract until January 2005

Based at Ashton Court Visitors Centre, Bristol
Grade H8 - £19,155 - £21,249 pro rata per annum, (£9.92 - £11.01 per hour)
22.50 hours per week, to be agreed on appointment
