Description

The John C. Campbell Folk School is excited to announce we’re bringing back our Garden Internship Program in 2023! Here are the things you should know:

  • From March–October 2023, one intern will assist our Gardener in developing and implementing season-long plans for the Folk School’s garden, leading participants in the Work-Study program, and performing overall maintenance.
  • The Garden Internship is a learning position with the opportunity for the right candidate to shape their experience based on their areas of interest. Those with garden, farm, and formal agriculture experience are encouraged to apply, with the necessary training provided.
  • This intern will receive a $1,200 stipend per month with other benefits like on-campus housing, meals, and free tuition for a Folk School class of choice. This position will be 35-40 hours per week.
  • Ideally, the Garden Intern will be available for the entire garden season, but applicants only available for a portion of that time are encouraged to apply.

Applications are due on Friday, January 13, 2023.

For more information on internship duties and to apply, you can visit our SlideRoom application here: https://folkschool.slideroom.com/#/permalink/program/70663.
