Description
Green Market Fundraising (GMF) is working at the behest of the New Jersey's Clean Energy Program to help promote energy efficiency throughout the state of New Jersey by donating free 13-Watt compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs). GMF is currently accepting resumes for qualified and motivated individuals wishing to become a part of our 2009 Donation Program.
Responsibilities:
- Donating free 13-watt CFLs to New Jersey residents
- Ensuring that "customers" are residents of New Jersey
- Collecting "customer" information via a one-page pledge form
- Providing the "customer" with relevant information about CFLs and energy efficiency
- Supplying the "customer" with information about GMF's school fundraising program
- Ensuring that all completed pledge forms and materials are returned to headquarters following each event
- Providing one's own transportation to each event
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or working towards one)
- Ability to work with a team member or by yourself
- Motivation
- Trustworthiness
- Personable attitude
- Personal transportation
Preferred qualifications:
- Past experience in environmental initiatives
- Sales background
Compensation: This is a purely commission-based position; field reps are compensated based on the number of CFLs donated and pledge forms collected.
