Description
The Alliance for Sustainable Colorado (The Alliance) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2004 to advance environmental, economic and social sustainability in Colorado through building broad support among individuals, non-profit organizations, businesses and government.
The Alliance fosters relationships and facilitates creation of common goals and agendas to unify support and enable mobilization to jointly back policy initiatives and educational campaigns that consider long-term impacts. The Alliance achieves its mission through outreach and public policy programs illustrated by The Alliance's administration of the Colorado Alliance of Sustainable Business Associations (CASBA), a socially responsible business network, and the Building Colorado Coalition, which promotes high performance building policies and practices.
