Position Overview 

Green Seal has an opening for a full-time environmental scientist for technical support of programs in our Madison, WI, location. 

Responsibilities 

Job responsibilities would include the following: 

• Review technical product information for compliance to Green Seal standards (desk audits);
• Research/address technical issues as they arise; 
• Communicate with client applicants regarding review requirements and findings; and
• Review product marketing materials for consistency with the FTC Environmental Marketing Guidelines and Green Seal policies. 

Note: Assignments will primarily include evaluating products as part of Green Seal's Certification program. 

Qualifications 

• We are looking for someone with a bachelor's degree with relevant experience, or a master's degree, in environmental science, engineering, or related technical discipline, including some chemistry training and/or experience.
