Job Summary

Dominion Energy is seeking candidates for the position of Energy Solutions Specialist, Electrification.This role identifies and researches potential customer electrification opportunities. You can experience the excitement of our company – it's the difference between taking a job and starting a career. At this time, Dominion Energy cannot transfer nor sponsor a work visa for this position. This position does not offer relocation assistance. 

Responsibilities

• Perform market analysis, customer outreach.
• Lead customer education on electrification of fleets and workplace charging.
• Perform electric vehicle total-cost-of-ownership analysis for customer.
• Support the development of collateral to guide customer conversations.
• Provide guidance on electrical needs
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on marketing, press releases and media-related matters regarding electrification matters.
• Supports vendor oversight, including requests for proposals, contract execution, operational performance oversight and budgetary spending limits.
• Perform market analysis, customer outreach and management.
• Maintains customer relationships and awareness of customer needs.
• Develop and/or build upon existing relationships with all customer classes to identify opportunities for electrification.
• Assess and translate market competition, industry trends, emerging customer challenges and changes into market strategies and product offerings.
• Explains tariff and service agreement provisions.
• Designs service proposals, negotiates service agreements and drafts agreements and contracts.
• Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience:

• Minimum Requirements (Note: A partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will be considered one year towards the qualifications.):
• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years directly related experience OR
• Associate's degree with 5+ years directly related experience OR
• High school diploma or GED with 7+ years directly related experience.

• Demonstrated knowledge of financial and marketing concepts; 
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills;
• Effective verbal and written communication skills;
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
• Strong computer skills; and
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making.

Military Experience:

• The company is actively seeking United States military veterans and service members who meet the qualifications outlined above.

Education Requirements:

• Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor.

Working Conditions:

• Office Work Environment 76 -100%
• Travel Up to 25%
