Program Coordinator, Stormwater Division

Salary: $47,220 to $60,300 Annually

The City of Gresham, Oregon is seeking a qualified ESA Program Coordinator to develop, implement and manage a response and compliance program associated with the requirements of the federal Endangered Species Act (ESA). Under the direction of the Water Resources Program Manager this position will be critical to ensure Citywide program integration with the Clean Water Act, including the NPDES, TMDL water quality requirements and local requirements and plans such as Title III, Goal 5 and Stormwater Master Plans. The ideal candidate will not only be experienced and technically skilled, but will also be a self-starter who can work independently given broad direction and parameters with which to work. Must also have excellent written and oral communication skills, negotiation skills, the ability to develop and interpret complex biological studies and the ability to coordinate the efforts of others.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree (master’s degree desired) or equivalent experience in environmental engineering, water resources, fish biology, ecology or a related field; accompanied by at least five years of professional experience. Must have a valid driver’s license by hire date.
