Description

~ Environmental Traveling Companions (ETC) is a nonprofit organization that has been providing outdoor adventures and environmental education programs for people with disabilities and economically disadvantaged youth for over 40 years. ~

ETC's sea kayaking, whitewater rafting, cross country skiing and youth leadership programs annually enable over 2,300 people with special needs to enjoy the beauty, challenge and inspiration of educational outdoor adventures.

Position Overview

National conservation organization seeks Director, Southern Rockies Program. Position develops projects, builds partnerships and works with local communities, nonprofits and Forest Service primarily in Colorado and Arizona.  

Qualifications

  • Understanding of intermountain and southwestern natural resource issues.
  • Facilitation skills.
  • Aability to work with diverse constituents.
  • Knowledge of Forest Service systems.
  • Master's degree (or equivalent) in natural resource-related field and 10 years' experience in conservation programs and collaborative conservation are essential.
