Position Overview:

TheGreenOffice.com seeks an energetic and personable Customer Service Associate to join our San Francisco office.  This individual will represent the company over the phone and through email with customers, providing them with superior customer service.  Customer service associates must be prepared to answer any number of questions about the company's mission, operations, and products.  The ideal candidate has customer service experience, but we are willing to train an enthusiastic and eager learner.

The Customer Service Associate will:

  • Answer incoming customer calls between the hours of 8 am and 6 pm, Monday thru Friday
  • Answer incoming customer emails
  • Provide customers with information about how to find products on our site
  • Answer detailed questions about specific products in the catalog
  • Assist customers in placing orders
  • Process customer returns
  • Interact with suppliers and warehouses to coordinate orders
  • Provide timely response to all calls and emails
  • Give customers knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly service

An ideal Customer Service Associate will have:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office 2007, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Advanced listening, writing, and verbal communication skills
  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred
  • Willingness to learn and think quickly on the job
  • The ability to learn software programs (no technophobes please!)

Compensation

This is a salaried position with a full benefits package and an incentive plan that rewards loyalty and results.
