Construction and Projects Engineering Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a Construction and Projects Engineering Manager to work out of our San Diego office in support of our wholly owned subsidiary, groSolar.  

Responsibilities

• In this role you will handle all technical coordination between the host site representative, Contractor(s) and engineering subject matter experts that may reside within groSolar or consultants.
• The main focus will be to coordinate preconstruction & engineering task from the host site and other internal/external clients.
• You will manage the construction activities necessary to develop, license/permit, start-up and commence commercial operation of multiple energy storage projects.

Qualifications

• To be considered for this role you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• We are looking for 8+ years of industry experience, with 5+ at the management level with full responsibility.
• Extensive and diversified knowledge of relevant codes, standards and engineering principles and practices required to produce safe, efficient, reliable, easy to operate and maintain, and cost-effective designs a plus.
• We are seeking a highly motivated self-starter, friendly personality, and good team player.
