Design Workshop is an award-winning, international firm practicing landscape architecture, land planning, urban design and tourism planning. We combine principles of smart growth, sustainable design and environmentally sound planning to reconcile economic needs with the preservation of scenic, cultural and community values.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a professional to provide leadership in the social principles of sustainable design and planning. This individual will lead an internal forum established for the purpose of developing and expanding capacity and expertise with an emphasis of socially responsible design and planning. The work will be accomplished through but not limited to marketing, project management, community advocacy, public process and design and staff development.

The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree and 8 years minimum related experience in landscape architecture, planning, public policy or related field. He/she will have a strong history of community involvement and community process. An appreciation for economics, environment, and art in sustainable design and the ability to synthesize information and think outside the boundaries community alone is necessary.
