Position Overview
Tip of the Mitt Watershed Council's Communications Director will develop the annual communication's plan and implement communication strategies to promote the mission of the organization. The Communications Director will be responsible for:
- Directing our media relations;
- Websites;
- Publications;
- Events;
- Social media; and
- Member and community outreach.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and three years communications experience required.
- Applicants need to demonstrate strong organizational, interpersonal, public speaking, and writing skills.
- Must be able to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A desire and interest in working to protect Northern Michigan's water resources essential.
Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience.
