Climate Change Adaptation Analyst

Stratus Consulting seeks a full-time Policy Analyst on Climate Change Adaptation located either in our Boulder, Colorado or Washington, DC office.

Responsibilities include conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses on climate change impacts and adaptation, literature reviews, client interaction, report writing and other duties as assigned. The position may involve interaction with policy makers and researchers providing information on climate change impacts and advice on adaptation options. The position may also include work on other environmental topics such as energy, water pollution, and air pollution analysis and policy.

QUALIFICATIONS

Desirable qualifications include a Masters degree in public policy, environmental policy, environmental studies, economics, or environmental or systems engineering; excellent verbal communication and writing skills, strong quantitative and computer skills (including spreadsheets and databases); 2-5 years of consulting experience, with project management experience preferable; attention to detail; proven commitment to excellence and quality control; and the ability to meet deadlines.
