Description
Background:
The Fund runs a nationwide network of grassroots campaign offices. We raise funds, build membership and run issue campaigns for organizations like Greenpeace USA, the Sierra Club, the state PIRGs and the Human Rights Campaign.
Since 1982, Fund staff have raised over $200 million for progressive nonprofits and helped win legislative victories on issues like clean air, forest preservation, and democracy.
Duties:
Citizen Outreach Directors
Run a regional campaign office. Hire, train, supervise and work alongside a staff of 10-40 people conducting door-to-door or telephone membership and fundraising drives for progressive organizations like Greenpeace USA, the Sierra Club, and the State PIRGs.
Also, hold news conferences, organize coalitions, run petition and letter-writing drives. Generally raise hell.
