Position Overview
The Business Development Manager/Trainer position provides initial orientation and certification training to new franchise owners and advanced/ongoing training and business development services to existing franchise owners.
You'll be responsible for development of communications with franchise owners, execution and teaching of company standardized educational curriculum and development of resources for franchise owners and management of vendor sales program. The position is directly responsible for the success of the Support Center equipment and supply distribution program.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial training of new franchise owners in accordance with the CHBCS Program training curriculum and provide required materials in accordance with the franchise agreement.
- Conduct advanced training (including certification courses) of existing franchise owners in accordance with Coverall's established training curriculum.
- Conduct re-training of franchise owners, as may be required.
- Conduct franchise owner development meetings on a weekly basis.
- Assist in the scheduling of Franchise Field Trainers for specific franchise owners as required.
- Maintain records of all franchise owner training sessions conducted and other relevant documentation of franchise owner (i.e. certification training records).
- Proactively support the franchise owners, addressing all issues; and. Support the franchise owners in growing their businesses and retaining their customers.
- Communicate regularly with General Manager and provide feedback and updates on Franchise Owner training, vendor sales promotions, and other matters as may be required.
- Provide content for Coverall franchise owner communications including quarterly newsletters and training calendars.
- Conduct monthly inventory of equipment, chemicals and other supplies and maintain accurate inventory.
Qualifications
- Advanced Technical knowledge of commercial cleaning processes.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as technical data, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- A passion for developing people into successful business owners.
- Ability to write reports and correspondence.
- Able to effectively manage franchise owners and their expectations.
- Strong oral communication skills.
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to solve practical problems, prioritize and to multi-task.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Some sales experience is desired.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
Compensation: Competitive Base salary, uncapped commissions, incentives and bonuses.
