And so we create and execute unique new programs that utilize public-private partnerships, social enterprises and fresh thinking.  

Position Overview

ICAST is seeking a seasoned sales professional with connections in the multifamily community across Colorado. The Business Development Executive will identify and contract with multifamily residential building owners for the purpose of providing green rehab services to their facilities.

An ideal candidate will have a current network within the multifamily housing community (affordable or market-rate). Additional previous experience within the Colorado Department of Housing, the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, Colorado Public Housing Authorities, or similar is preferred. 

Responsibilities  

  • Create leads, visit potential clients and qualify the potential customer
  • Conduct sales for multifamily and community buildings by working directly with property owners and managers 
  • Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by coordinating with ICAST operations to meet customer needs
  • Prospecting, cold calling and handling incoming phone sales inquiries 
  • Communicate technical concepts in a simple, easy to understand manner
  • Increase ICAST and ResourceSmart brand awareness 

Qualifications  

Candidate Past Experience: 

  • Experience within the multifamily housing community is required
  • Previous sales experience with demonstrated track record of success, preferred
  • Previous experience with construction, preferred
  • Previous experience in energy efficiency and building systems is a plus  

Skills: 

  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Must project a positive professional personal and phone image
  • Demonstrate a customer service attitude toward both clients and employees
  • Computer proficient 
  • Organization and multi-tasking abilities
  • Be a self starter and able to work with a team
  • Formal Education: High School Diploma 

Compensation: Commission based compensation with small base salary.
