Position Overview:

The Business Development Associate plays an integral role in the development and implementation of strategies to increase Saatchi & Saatchi S's client base.  Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the Associate will be a part of our expanding Global BD team.

The ideal candidate will have client-facing experience in sales and/or account management, and possess superior written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities: 

-  Aid in the development and implementation of progressive sales strategies in order to develop and increase our client base through strong client relationships.
-  Identify and implement Saatchi S products and services to help achieve the client's goals.
-  Help prepare client presentations and negotiate contract terms.
-  Build trust, credibility, and gain referrals from existing clients; cultivate new brand and account relationships.
-  Develop and process proposals through the prescribed channels on a timely basis.
-  Document all client calls/transactions in Salesforce.
-  Generate and pass quality leads in timely manner.
-  Generate Weekly BD Status Update, Monthly New Business Report, and Monthly Revenue Projections to satisfy Saatchi & Saatchi reporting requirements.
-  Manage requests for and pursue senior management appearances at conferences and speaking events.
-  Support EVP and BD Manager with event preparation and other requests.
-  Manage and update Saatchi S credentials deck, case studies, and other related client communications and collateral as needed.
-  Coordinate with Global BD team to ensure consistency across global targets

Qualifications: 

-  Bachelor's Degree required.
-  2+ years experience in business development and/or sales
-  Experience in sustainability and/or CSR preferred
-  Proven success in business development required. 
-  Must be very entrepreneurial.
-  Bachelor's degree required and 1+ years experience in a client-facing role.
-  Ability to travel to client location, 1 to 3 days a week as necessary for team, client, and company meetings.
-  Demonstrated experience and interest in sustainability
-  Strong supervisory skills to manage team assigned to account.
-  Experience with sales principles, consultative solutions, and account management.
-  Ability to multi-task by managing multiple clients and projects within deadlines.
-  Excellent oral, organizational, and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills.
