Although our beginnings were humble, CCOF was instrumental in advocating for federal organic legislation; our organic certification standards were used as a foundation for the USDA National Organic Program, finally making “certified organic” a federally regulated claim.
After more than 30 years of fighting for organic integrity, we continue to certify, educate, advocate, and promote organic.CCOF is a growing organization that seeks highly qualified and trained professionals. Employment opportunities for organic inspectors may also be available. Check here
Our staff enjoys many benefits that make CCOF an excellent place to work. Our dog friendly office, proximity to the Pacific Ocean, supportive atmosphere, organic staff lunches, and strong benefits package are all reasons why our staff members love working here, year after year.
