Agribusiness Manager

Position Overview:

nZero seeks a highly motivated and versatile individual to join our Agribusiness Team. This hybrid position will involve providing customer success support, sales assistance, project management, and technical support within the agriculture industry. The Agribusiness Manager will work closely with the external sales team, fill operations gaps, and support various back-end operations to ensure efficient and successful business operations. 

• Locations: Remote Ideally located in Illinois or in the Chicago (IL), Madison (WI), Des Moines (IA), or Minneapolis (MN) area. 

Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the Director of Agribusiness, this position will:

• Build strong relationships with the ag-industry customers, understand their needs, and provide exceptional customer support to ensure their success and satisfaction
• Support sales activities, such as lead generation, prospecting, and client communications 
• Coordinate and manage various projects related to agribusiness operations, ensuring timely completion and successful outcomes
• Provide technical support in the agricultural emissions calculation process and other technical aspects related to agribusiness operations 
• Be willing to wear multiple hats and adapt to evolving needs, taking on tasks and responsibilities beyond the core role as necessary 

Recommended Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in the agriculture industry, preferably in seed, chemical, equipment, biofuels, livestock, and/or ag-processing sectors 
• Bachelor’s degree in a business or agricultural field preferred 
• Prior on-farm experience is preferred but not required 
• Experienced builder and grower of best-in-class marketing teams 
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a creative and flexible mindset to find innovative solutions to operational challenges 
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills 
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
