Position Overview
We are looking for an ambitious, highly vocational and skilled student or recent graduated in mechanical engineering with interest in renewable energy, wind turbines, measurements and mechanical loads.
DNV GL’s Wind Turbine Testing Team delivers high quality analysis to wind farm owners, wind turbine manufacturers and clean energy investors to ensure that wind turbines perform to expectations. We are engineers, scientists and business people dedicated to the success of the renewable energy industry. We mainly verify through measurements that wind turbines will produce energy in line with expectations, and have a useful lifetime consistent with their design.

Responsibilities
- Support to project managers in all project related tasks: planning, equipment preparation, logistics, documentation, analysis and reporting
- Online monitoring of ongoing wind turbine mechanical loads measurements
- Active participation in Research, Development and Innovation projects
- Develop tools focused on processes automatization and efficiency gains
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or other relevant discipline). Student in the last year or recently graduated
- Good communication skills in Spanish and English, both written and oral
- Advance MS Excel and programming skills (Visual Basic or similar)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous renewable energy, consulting, project management, electronics experience or credentials
- Familiarity with multiple meteorological, mechanical and electrical measurement systems and sensors including strain, torsion, stiffness, power, vibration, acoustic, displacement and telemetry systems
- Familiarity with data acquisition and processing hardware and software
- MATLAB, imc FAMOS programming experience
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
